Are there any descendants of Will and Katy Morgan still living in Llanharan? Will and Katy used to have the fish and chip shop. Katy's father was John Williams from Machen and later from Barry but I'm trying to find out who her mother was. I am Peter Everall on pete.everall@tesco.net

5, Fforchaman Road, Cwmaman, is now a tearooms called "Queen Ti's tearooms". During renovation a shop sign in good condition, was uncovered saying "Draper Sam Badham Outfitters" from about 1920. It is now displayed inside Queen Ti's. Hoping to have Sam Badhams history there too, when it is all collected.

Some Facts about Bridgend: Bridgend County Borough has more hours of sunshine than Milan in Italy. The mastermind behind the American Revolution, Richard Price, was born in Bridgend. So was the genius behind supersonic flight and eventually Concorde, Sir Morien Morgan, was born at 22 Caroline Street, Bridgend in 1912. Sir William Morgan who invented the X-ray process in 1785, also came from Bridgend.
