My WEBBER family originated from Upton, Somerset. George Webber bn 1723 Upton m. Joan c. 1748 in Upton. Their son Henry bn 1751 m Jane Graves, c 1777 at Upton. Henry, their son bn 1792 m Mary Millard in Stogursey 28 May 1817. My gt grandfather George was bn 1826 Stogursey. Henry returned to Upton about 1830 and four daughters were born to him and Mary there. Both George and Henry were blacksmiths. Looking for any others with Webber from Upton, Cathy

Small hamlet on the edge of Shepton Mallet. So called named after Giles Cannard - Last man in England to be hung for Sheep stealing.
